Liquid Terminal Automation

Designed & developed Terminal Automation System at one of the nation's largest liquid storage terminals. System included PLC and HMI (SCADA) control via Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus Network for internal plant and plant-to-plant communications. Implementation of control systems, communications systems, oil movement applications, inventory, tank gauging, blending, sampling, valve control, pump control, pipeline metering, and ESD control.

Marine Vapor Recovery System

Designed and developed automation for Marine Vapor Control System in major liquid storage terminal. The system included a network of Allen Bradley PLC's, Graphical User interface design and development, Liquid Storage Industryvalve control, burner control, pump control, safety interlocks, and ESD controls.

Marine Terminal Automation

Designed and developed Marine Terminal automation system. Scope included project management, implementation of control systems, communication systems, oil movement and scheduling applications, inventory, tank gauging, valve control, pump control, and ESD.

Underground Cavern Storage Automation & Control

Designed and developed supervisory control, ESD, and data acquisition systems for LPG underground storage caverns. The systems were designed to bring the terminals into compliance with Kansas State Department of Health and Environment Article #45. The systems included a PC based supervisory control system with graphical user interface to eventually provide supervisory control of three underground storage facilities, 165 remote terminal units, automated valves, instrumentation, product metering, ESD control, interlocks, and radio communications network.
